ESS Sunglasses: The Rollbar and CDI sunglasses are compatible with interchangeable, prescription lenses. The Credence and 5B are compatible with fixed, prescription lenses. The Crowbar and CDI Max are not prescription compatible. Sunglass prescription lenses meet ANSI Z87.1 safety standards.
ESS Eyeshields & Goggles: Most ESS eyeshields and goggles are prescription compatible with the use of either the U-Rx™ Insert (740-0433) or Vice Rx Insert (740-0308). The Rx insert clips behind your eye pro’s primary lenses, ensuring that your eye protection's safety standards are uncompromised. The U-Rx™ Prescription Insert is designed to be used seamlessly with CrossBlade, Crossbow, Crosshair, and ICE Eyeshields; and Influx™ and Profile™ NVG goggle platforms. The Vice Rx Insert is compatible with Crossbow, Crosshair, and ICE. The U.S. Army issued UPLC is compatible with all models listed with the U-Rx Insert.
We partner with a trusted optometrist who expertly fills prescriptions on all Rx-compatible ESS products. For more information, please email rxforms@esseyepro.com. If your own optometrist fills your prescription, be sure to verify their certification and ability to install lenses that will meet ANSI Z87.1 impact standards.
